Nora Stapleton is a Tax Partner at the Chicago accounting and consulting firm Blackman Kallick. She is chairman of the firm’s Tax Practice Quality Control Committee and a member of Blackman Kallick’s Tax Technical Panel.

Nora provides counsel to high net worth individuals and closely held businesses, focusing on issues relating to trusts, S corporations and partnerships. She regularly advises on Section 1031 like-kind exchanges and the structuring of acquisitions and dispositions of closely held businesses. Nora’s clients are engaged in financial services, construction, transportation, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate and professional services.

Nora is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the AICPA's prestigious Individual Income Tax Technical Resource Panel. She is also a member of the Illinois CPA Society and recently presented a webcast on individual income taxes. Nora is a frequent contributing author to The Tax Advisor.

Nora is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago and holds an MS in Taxation from DePaul University. She also serves on the board of the Strawdog Theatre Company.
