Greg is an Audit Partner with Blackman Kallick, Co-Chairman of the firm’s Private Equity Venture Capital Practice and the Chairman of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Practice. He is also a member of the firm's Hospitality Practice.
Greg serves as the Audit Partner on many of the firm’s most prominent private equity and venture capital clients. Through his involvement with the Illinois Venture Capital Association, the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies, and his close working relationships with his clients, he stays informed on the most current developments in the industry. Greg consults with his clients and helps them implement new accounting guidelines and adopt the best industry practices.
Greg helps his employee benefit plan clients comply with generally accepted accounting principles and the numerous Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor rules and regulations. He stays current in these areas through his involvement with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center and attendance at the AICPA National Conference on Employee Benefit Plans.
Greg has conducted a number of educational seminars for various professional organizations and firm employees. Prior to joining Blackman Kallick in 1994, he worked as a corporate pension analyst with The Northern Trust Company.
Greg graduated Magna Cum Laude from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Greg is a member of the AICPA, the Illinois CPA Society, the Chicago chapter of the Creighton Alumni Association, the Illinois Venture Capital Association and the Illinois Restaurant Association serving as assistant treasurer.
