Gary Wolfson is Partner in Charge of Legal and Financial Executive Search. Gary has more than 25 years of experience in executive search and human resources consulting including eight years as president and founder of a successful Chicago-based search and consulting firm, which he merged into Blackman Kallick in the late 1980s. He specializes in moving partners and partner groups from law firm to law firm. However, his team provides a full range of staffing services in the legal, financial and administrative arenas.

Gary's current clients include a wide range of nationally and locally prominent law firms, most of which have a strong Chicago presence. In past years, as a corporate executive search consultant, he also advised and recruited for scores of Chicago-based and Fortune 1000 companies. Gary has been published and quoted in Chicago Lawyer, the Chicago Tribune, Boardroom Reports and various other legal and human resources publications. Gary has also been a frequent lecturer at national seminars and conferences. He has served on fundraising boards for three major Chicago-area hospitals and currently serves as Chairman for the Medical Research Institute Council Board of Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital.

A graduate of the University of Denver Business School, Gary began his management career in the retail industry with the May Company in Denver, Colorado. He then joined an international export/import company in Chicago in sales and marketing management prior to entering the executive search profession. He lives in the Chicago area, is passionate about sports, politics, travel and spending time with his wife Lisa.
