Damitha Bandara is an Audit Partner and the Director of Audit Strategy for Blackman Kallick in Chicago. He is an outstanding technical resource with expertise in International and U.S. accounting and audit standards.

Damitha serves a diverse range of clients and industries including distribution, manufacturing, construction, food service and other service-based industries.He provides counsel to clients on derivative instruments, activity-based costing, international accounting and auditing issues and internal controls.

Damitha received his BS in Accounting and Management Information Systems (magna cum laude) from Miami University and holds a masters degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Damitha is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS), and serves on the ICPAS' Audit and Assurance Services Committee. He is also a founding member of, and the North America representative for, the HLB International audit and accounting steering committee.
