Egelston Speaks at ICPAS Chicago Metro Chapter

Amy Egelston, Senior Manager in Blackman Kallick’s Forensic and Litigation Practice, and Leader of the Intellectual Property and Licensing Contract Compliance Consulting, presents “Dodd-Frank Act and How it Impacts the Accounting Profession” at the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. This presentation includes how the AICPA and SEC have reacted to the financial meltdown and the current status among the key regulatory bodies. The presentation will also cover auditor quality and investor protection, current SEC and PCAOB activities, the Dodd-Frank Act and how it impacts the accounting profession, as well as current SEC and PCAOB enforcement actions related to frauds (including Chinese reverse mergers) as a result of the financial meltdown.
