Time: 11:00 am CDT
Duration: 1 hour (1 hour of CPE will be provided.)

The passing of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (more commonly known as the Health Care Bill) has added a number of new taxes and business reporting requirements. In addition, current rules regarding information reporting are being targeted by IRS compliance checks. Being unaware of the current information reporting requirements can result in significant penalties and interest to be levied by the IRS. Also, businesses need to prepare for the additional reporting requirements that will be effective in 2012. This webinar will educate business owners, CFOs, controllers and others on the current and new reporting requirements and help ensure that they avoid the heavy fines that can come with non-compliance.

Questions to be answered are:

  • What are the current information reporting requirements?
  • What is a Form W-9? What is a W-8?
  • Are you complying with current withholding requirements or are you subject to the 28% penalty?
  • What changes will occur in 2012?
