Su and Oetter Host Chicago Welcome Reception for CCPIT Delegation
Blackman Kallick Partner Paul Oetter and Director Stella Su, together with representatives from Miller Canfield and Royal Roots Global, Inc. welcomed over fifty delegates from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) on September 13 at Hing Kee restaurant in Chicago. Attendees enjoyed dinner and networking and were addressed by Gene Lee, Deputy Chief of Staff for the Chicago Mayor’s office.
The evening reception was a kick-off event for the first annual U.S. - China Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, co-sponsored by the U.S. - China Chamber of Commerce and the CCPIT, which took place at the Chicago Marriott Downtown on September 14. One hundred and seventy five business owners from the U.S. and China gathered to explore critical trade and investment topics, promote common solutions to global challenges and strengthen relations.
