Bennett to Present at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business

Evan Bennett, Director of Reinsurance Consulting, will speak at three upcoming courses offered by the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Business this summer.

The first course, "Reinsurance: Management and Accounting," will be held July 21–23, 2008. This course is specifically designed to meet the needs of professionals who are responsible for creating and/or managing their company's reinsurance agreements. Topics to be discussed include the types and content of agreements; how to work with reinsurance brokers; and the latest reinsurance terminology, principles and techniques. The second course is titled, "Reinsurance: Advanced Concepts," and will be held July 24–25, 2008. This course will cover reinsurance contracts, claim and collections issues, statutory/regulation issues, reinsurance audits, dispute resolution, arbitration and litigation, commutations and solvency issues.To register for this course, click here.

On August 11–13, 2008, Evan will speak at the Financial Management for Non-Financial Insurance Executives program. This program will cover topics such as communicating effectively with other departments and executives; maintaining control over cash by using proven cash management techniques; making cost-effective decisions; and identifying initiatives and projects when you know what drives costs to your organization; and improving the profitability of your company.
