Baer Speaks at NAMIC Financial Focus Seminar

Steve Baer, Senior Manager, presented at the NAMIC Financial Focus Seminar held in Houston, May 17–19, 2009. In the presentation, "Overview of the New Model Audit Rule," he discussed why all companies will feel the effects of the new internal control standards and will walk attendees through a general readiness plan, which they can apply to their own company.

The NAMIC Financial Focus Seminar addresses financial issues of importance for property and casualty insurance companies. The seminar includes traditional presentations by industry experts and the opportunity for round-table discussions in small groups. This seminar is designed for chief financial officers, controllers, and financial and accounting professionals from property and casualty insurance companies.
