Bill Metzdorff is a Managing Director in Blackman Kallick’s Forensic and Litigation Services and the Business Insurance Claim Consulting practices.

For over 25 years, Bill has provided financial, accounting and economic analyses to attorneys in connection with major lawsuits involving antitrust, breach of contract, business interruption, construction claims, fraud/misrepresentation, intellectual property, lost profits damages and wrongful termination.

In addition to expert testimony, other services Bill has provided include document and personnel fact-finding, discovery assistance, damages determination or rebuttal, settlement negotiation and ADR assistance as well as trial and witness preparation. He has served clients in the aerospace, agribio, biotechnology, construction, electric utility, fast food, manufacturing, nuclear power, real estate and services industries, among others.

In addition to his vast experience with attorneys, Bill has provided financial, accounting and economic analyses to insureds in connection with major losses involving property damage, business interruption and fidelity claims. In addition to claim report preparation, other services Bill has provided include document and personnel fact-finding, loss determination and settlement negotiation. He has taught and lectured on business interruption claims before organizations such as RIMS and CPCU.

Bill also has significant experience with preparation of damages analyses in commercial litigation and subrogation matters including expert testimony.

Prior to joining Blackman Kallick, Bill was with the firms Deloitte & Touche, Dempsey, Myers & Co. and Peterson & Co. Consulting. He is a certified management accountant and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and an associate member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society. Bill received his BBA and MBA from University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Business.
