Nick Wright

Audit Manager

Nick Wright is a Manager in Blackman Kallick’s Audit Services group, where he specializes in providing financial statement and employee benefit plan audits for midsize clients in the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. Within the manufacturing and distribution industry, Nick is especially attuned to the needs of clients in the food-processing and metalforming sectors.

His responsibilities include:

  • managing financial statement audits for privately held companies;
  • managing audits of 401(k) plans and other employee benefit plans;
  • presenting training sessions on manufacturing-related accounting issues, such as inventory management and accounts receivable.

Nick’s manufacturing clients rely on his insight into the intricacies of inventory and cost accounting and currency-exchange transactions, as well as his ability to uncover opportunities to make the manufacturing process more efficient.

His thorough understanding of his clients and their financials makes him the ideal resource for both the financial statement audit and the 401(k) audit. Clients for whom he manages both audits benefit from the increased efficiencies and convenience — as well as related insights — of a single resource.

Credentials and Professional Involvement

A member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and Illinois CPA Society, Nick received his BA in Accounting with honors from Michigan State University.

Nick is an active member of a number of key manufacturing industry groups, including the Valley Industrial Association and the Precision Metalforming Association.
