CPA
Cliff Shapiro is a Director with Blackman Kallick. Cliff joined the firm in 1989. With over 25 years of public accounting experience, he is responsible for the planning and administration of audit and accounting engagements for the firm’s HUD audits. This includes supervision of the CPA certification required for HUD electronic filings as well as cost certifications required for new construction. He also represents other not-for-profit organizations, including private foundations, and manufacturing, distribution and service industry businesses.
Cliff is an instructor for the firm’s continuing education courses on not-for-profit topics. He has provided instruction to both staff and clients on compliance testing required for OMB A-133 audits. Cliff has volunteered his services on various occasions to a social service organization to assist on various accounting matters.
Cliff received his BS in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. He is a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society.
