Internships

A strong internship program is essential to the recruitment and retention of top-quality candidates. Blackman Kallick offers internships in audit and tax during the spring semester (January – April) and in the summer (May – August).

Audit Internships

Our audit interns have the opportunity to learn audit procedures and accounting principles, work directly with our audit managers and partners, and engage in direct interaction with key audit clients.

Tax Internships

Tax interns learn tax law, gain familiarity with software used for individual return preparation and paperless document storage, work with our tax managers and partners, and prepare basic individual and business tax returns.

In addition to valuable professional experience, Blackman Kallick interns are afforded various social opportunities (both firm sponsored and informal) and often comment that they feel treated as employees rather than interns. We pride ourselves on providing meaningful work experience rather than just “busy work.”

Our primary goal is to ensure the success of our interns during their time at Blackman Kallick. This often culminates in a full-time-job offer — even before you return to campus.
