Blackman Kallick on Chicago’s Economic Outlook
In November 2008, Blackman Kallick surveyed approximately 300 Chicago area business leaders to gain insight on their outlook for the future of Chicago businesses and the state of the economy at large. The results can be viewed online at the Blackman Kallick website. Since then, a lot has changed such as the election of a new president, the auto industry bailout and Bernard Madoff being charged with perpetuating the largest investor fraud scheme ever executed by an individual.
In my interview with WinningWorkplaces.org, I discussed these survey results as well as what we have been hearing from our clients since the results were released in November. My interview can be found in this month’s Winning Workplaces IDEAS e-newsletter. View it here.
Also, Winning Workplaces and The Wall Street Journal are collaborating to identify exceptional small organizations–private, not-for-profit or publicly held–in their third annual ranking of the Top Small Workplaces.
So, if you know any businesses, nominate them now! The deadline is January 30, 2009.
