What Are Your Company’s Values … and How Do You Live Them?

Eclipse Corporation, based in Rockford, Illinois, is celebrating its centennial anniversary this year. But, for Eclipse, these statements are more than just words on a plaque by the front door. Beginning with its new employee interview process and at regular intervals thereafter, Eclipse’s leadership engages its teams throughout the company in discussions and educational activities about the relevance of the values and mission to day-to-day business activities. The success of this approach comes through in the way Eclipse people interact with each other, their customers, their suppliers and their community—the way they are “living” their values into the next century.
